  • La Carmela Delice

In 1985, a gift was given to Carmelite Sisters of Kigali: A huge amount of Pineapples. The Sisters made jam and ate a lot of it and there was still a lot left. One of the sisters had been in Italy where she had learnt how to make wine.

The Sisters decided to use this wine technology with the left over pineapples. This is how Carmela Delice was born and further developed With all exotic fruits produced organically in Rwanda.
